“This beautiful appointed house has been a wonderful haven from
the cares of working life. You should venture into the hills and

loved the play area and turned the play house into a pirate camp.
With young children Captain Jacko’s at Cap d’Agde was perfect for
them and a step over the boardwalk onto the sand and the Med proper
was great. We had a very good lunch looking out to sea at the
restaurant Le Reef, a really good day out. Canoeing at St, Guilhem
was a success too. The children loved pony rides at the Domaine
Trois Fontaine, towards Canet. Tennis in the village (Cabrials) –
ask at the shop and you can join for a year for 18 Euros!
The weather has been excellent...pool hit 29 degrees!”

“What a fabulous retreat, it didn’t take us long to get into the
routine of swim, eat, swim, drink, swim. How lovely it was to eat
all meals outside, often surrounded by mummy red squirrel who
treated us to an audience with her beautiful kittens – what a thrill
day out for children aged 9-15, plus mum and dad was canoeing on

stony and snorkels as the water is very clear with lots of fish.

Thomas and Pauline have thought of everything to make their guests
so welcome, it suited our two families so well, when we managed to

“Dear Tom and Pauline, thank you once again for a fabulous
holiday – it just keeps getting better!
The weather has been perfect and two whole weeks here has just
been such a treat. We celebrated a special birthday at Le Tournesol
in Clermont L’herault and dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant
in Cignac, both fantastic. Our girls did 3 days horse riding camp
down the road at Equi-P, the owner Julie is lovely. We are very sad

We go home to the

there are many really good places to visit and enjoy, we will be in

The Robinsons from Dublin and NZ
1 week was clearly a
mistake for such an amazing retreat, the villa, pool and gardens
were simply divine and we had to repeatedly force ourselves out to
visit the beach. Meze was lots of fun, both for the boys to swim and
play on the beach but also for the atmosphere in the evenings. I
would highly recommend taking a day out canoeing making sure you
pack a picnic to have en route along the river. Our only regret is
not staying longer. Having stayed at a number of villas in my time,
this has to be one of the best.
Nick, Tom, Ollie and Joe Gosling,
We very much enjoyed
our stay here, the swimming pool with provided equipment was
marvellous and we all enjoyed a game of boules. Paintings in every
room added considerably, the view of the garden, admittedly not the
valleys, was sublime, I must say it is a pleasure to stay in such a
grand house. The information was very useful, we made plans to go to
the equestrian centre but unfortunately never got round to it. Thank
you for allowing us to stay in La Cardabelle. The surrounding are

Thank you very much for a great holiday and sharing your house with
us. The pool and house were amazing and we really relaxed. The
canoeing is a different thing to do, bring water and a snack. There
is so much to do and see that we didn’t have enough time at all.
Shopping went down a treat in Montpellier. Hopefully some day we
will return. Thank you from
